Henry Rifle

This is a replica Henry rifle in 44-40 WCF caliber. The 1860 original model was in 44 rimfire. The rifle was used in the American Civil War by Union troops and Confederate troops when they could capture the rifle and ammunition. The magazine is the second tube that is under the rifle barrel. The magazine has a capacity of 15 rounds. The rifle is a level action and obviously not semi automatic. At 44 caliber, by common definition, is a “large caliber”, and with any reasonable charge of smokeless or black powder cannot be considered “high velocity”. There are no practical methods to mount scopes, any optical sights or attachments commonly found on an assault rifle on the rifle. It is in todays offering of game rifles a very poor choice, as a personal defense weapons it borders on being rediculous. The rifle is primarily used for competitve target shooting.

As I understand the “94 weapons ban” this would be banned for having a large capacity magazine.
The Act also defined and banned 'large capacity ammunition feeding devices', which generally applied to magazines or other ammunition feeding devices with capacities of greater than a certain number of rounds, and that up to the time of the Act were considered normal or factory magazines. Media and popular culture referred to these as 'high capacity magazines or feeding devices'. Depending on the locality and type of firearm, the cutoff between a 'normal' capacity and 'high' capacity magazine was 3, 7, 10, 12, 15, or 20 rounds. The now defunct federal ban set the limit at 10 rounds.
