More than two thousand five hundred participants of the rally under the aegis of Bonded Labour Liberation front Pakistan, i.e. brick kiln workers (males, females and children), representatives of civil society, lawyers, labour activists and political workers gathered at the appointed place and chanting slogans, carrying banners and placards, lead by Mahar Safdar Ali, Syeda Ghulam Fatima and Dr. Hassan Nasir, President of Pakistan Awami Party, walked towards Provincial Assembly It was a peaceful but impressive demonstration. The participation of workers was a proof of their confidence in the program and dedication of BLLF. The rally marched peacefully up to Mehfil Auditorium to Press Club Lahore to Punjab Assembly. A memorable gathering was a message to all that BLLF’s efforts are being translated into reality and that the labour community has reposed in it trust and confidence.
