To travel during the winter season without slipping or sinking.

This new invention was presented at the Nufar Inventions and Patents Exhibition that recently took place in Tel Aviv.

This new invention consists of an ancillary disc that is fitted to the car’s wheel. The diameter of the disc is smaller than the diameter of the wheel, but after installing the disc, a handle can be turned that increases the disc’s size until it is the same diameter as the wheel.

The disc raises the car several centimeters while gripping the road well as it is equipped with special spikes.

Upon commencing driving, the car leaves the difficult spot and starts to travel with stability and safely.

The disk allows travel and good traction on difficult stretches involving sand, mud and even on slippery roads covered with snow and ice.

This invention also includes an electrically operated version. The driver flicks a switch on the car’s dashboard. A small motor operates the ancillary disc thus increasing its size to the diameter of the wheel allowing the car to continue its journey without the driver having to leave the vehicle.

The first prize in the inventions and patents competition was awarded for a solar panel that produces many tens of percent more electricity than existing solar panels.

The second prize was given to an invention that creates electricity from surplus water pressure in water pipes. This invention has already been sold to Israel’s Mekorot water company that uses it to save a great deal of the energy required to ensure that the water flows in its pipes.

The CEO of Nufar Ltd., Israel Solodoch, says that the company recently held the first competition ever in Israel for inventions and patents that was held in Tel Aviv.

The first prize in this competition was awarded for a solar panel that produces many tens of percent more electricity than existing solar panels.

The second prize was given to an invention that creates electricity from surplus water pressure in water pipes. This invention has already been sold to Israel’s Mekorot water company that uses it to save a great deal of the energy required to ensure that the water flows in its pipes.

According to Israel Solodoch, Nufar’s CEO, the inventions competition was intended to allow meetings between inventors and investors from around the world in order to develop and apply their inventions.

Any inventor developing a new idea, even if it is the most important invention of the 21st Century, is usually forced to waste much time and effort in attempts to find investors to put money into his ideas. As a result of this, many inventions remain in the drawer, they do not reach the development and realization stages which is a loss to mankind in general.

The inventions and patents competition was intended to contend with this barrier. In this competition, an inventor can meet an investor face to face and on equal terms even if the investor represents a large concern or venture capital fund. Such a direct meeting helps inventors realize there inventions quickly and efficiently.

Realizing inventions, developing and marketing them will help Israeli industry and exports, will develop the economy and maintain Israel’s qualitative technological edge.

New ideas always play a vital role for technological development and global economic growth. At times of economic crisis, new ideas and inventions are even more important and needed.

During an economic crisis, many company owners who find themselves in an economic slowdown, look for new ideas to invest in in order to maintain their company’s profitability and even possibly to increase it.
