Madison Medical Resort, designed to be Odessa’s premier destination for post-hospital recovery and skilled nursing, has named Linda Smith, LNHA executive director. The announcement was made by Dan Marick, director of operations for SCC Healthcare Group.
Smith joins Madison Medical Resort with more than six years of administrative experience leading senior living communities throughout west Texas. She served as the administrator for Buena Vida Nursing and Rehabilitation, Terrace West Nursing & Rehab, LLP, Permian Residential Care Center and Concho Health and Rehab. Smith also served as a social worker for Deerings Nursing & Rehab Center, LLP, Parks Methodist Nursing & Rehab and Terrace West Nursing & Rehab.
“We are excited to have Linda lead Madison Medical Resort, which will be opening in Odessa this year,” said Marick. “She has great compassion and an understanding of the health care world and brings years of administrative experience. I am confident that Linda is the right person to help make Madison Medical Resort the premiere destination for rehabilitation, skilled nursing and long-term care in Odessa.”
“I am honored to be the executive director of our new, state of the art facility,” said Smith. “Madison Medical Resort is already creating a buzz in Odessa. I am excited for its opening and the opportunity to serve the people of Odessa and surrounding areas. I have lived in this area since 1987, and this community has waited for an innovative, progressive approach to care for a very long time. I feel blessed to be in a position to promote and propel our facility into a future of new beginnings.”
Madison Medical Resort, a $10 million, 43,000 square foot, post-hospital recovery, skilled nursing and long-term care community, is owned and operated by SCC Healthcare Group, headquartered in Garland, Texas.
