Residents and family members of The Legacy Preston Hollow, a family service-oriented community, recently gathered to celebrate the first night of Rosh Hashanah. Bruce Feldman led the traditional service, and he was accompanied by his daughter Liz Feldman, who sang traditional Hebrew prayers.
“It is my third year leading the Rosh Hashanah services at The Legacy Preston Hollow,” said Feldman. “It is a blessing to usher in the New Year, and it is a reminder to be grateful for another year that we are all here together.”
Cheryl Weitz, volunteer coordinator of The Legacy Senior Communities, lit the candles to signify the beginning of the services, as residents followed along in prayer.
“Celebrating Rosh Hashanah at The Legacy Preston Hollow is always beautiful and special for our residents and their families who are able to come together and rejoice in the coming of the New Year,” said Andrea Statman, director of development for The Legacy Senior Communities.
