Flood waters surround the Boulder Water Treatment Plant which is located ~8 miles east of the base of the foothills of Boulder at Jay Rd. and 75th Street. Residents have not been told there is any problem with the water/sewer system as of Friday afternoon.
Boulder Creek has escaped its banks and is flooding the nearby Open Space and ranch lands. The bridge over 75th St is one of many that is closed. About 3 miles to the east, one bridge remains open over Boulder Creek, the one at US Highway 287.
