A quick glance at the headlines in the violence-ridden city shows not only murders, but also a string of deaths caused by accidents involving the transit system. Freight Train Death
An 83-year man was killed by a freight train in Bloom Township, just outside of Chicago. The man bypassed a guardrail and was struck by the train yesterday morning. A 17-year-old boy was shot to death in Little Village. He was found Thursday evening and succumbed to his injuries Friday afternoon at a hospital.
These four shooting deaths are just a small sampling of the deadly daily occurrences in Chicagoland. Together, these incidents are proof that anyone, even children, should have a life insurance policy.
