Everyday is an adventure in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado! I was walking up to the laundromat this morning when I saw two bull elk laying on either side of the walkway. I decided it best not to go in between them, so I went around to the right, past a third large bull (not pictured), and in the door behind them. The elk were very calm and not at all a threat to anyone. Several people stopped by to take pictures. They stayed in this spot for most of the day, finally heading off into the field at sunset.
