Livestrong is an organization to raise money to fight cancer. It is not an organization to promote Lance Armstrong. Will I still wear the Livestrong bracelet; will you still support a good cause? My answer is YES!
I will admit that early on Livestrong was "cool". I think now more than ever people should realize that there is so much more to Livestrong than Lance. Wearing the bracelet now means I support cancer research and all the patient survivor programs that Livestrong is involved with.
As I Triathlete myself, I don't condone cheating of any kind. Can I understand how it can happen? Absolutely, if everyone else is drafting, you either draft or get left behind. Personally, I'd get left behind, but then again I have day job. Professional athletes only have the sport. There are so many should have, could have scenarios for all of those who want to sit in judgment. The bottom line is that Livestrong didn't lie, Livestrong didn't cheat, Livestrong is just trying to help Cancer survivors LIVESTRONG! So wear yellow, wear the bracelet, support a good cause.
