I believe the Assad regime crossed the red line when it used chemical weapons against its own people. Such attack was barbaric and was really against civilization and the international law. Such 'chemical attack' deserves a punitive military response from the international community. The international community must really stand up against the Assad regime's use of chemical weapons. There's a great danger that such weapons will be distributed to the terrorist allies of the Assad regime. Many terrorists are fighting side by side with the Assad regime.
The international community as a whole has the responsibility to protect, secure, defend, uphold and enforce the international law. I believe that the military strike against the Assad dictatorship by the US and its allies will prevent such regime from distributing chemical weapons to terrorist groups. Such military strike will also prevent the regime from using further the chemical weapons against the Syrian people. Such military response by the US and its allies would send a strong message to dictatorships from elsewhere that they should not in any way use chemical weapons against their respective peoples nor distribute such weapons to terrorist groups. Such military action against the Assad regime will likewise secure the allies of the US and the whole Free World in the Middle East region from being attacked with chemical weapons by the Assad regime. Egypt, U.A.E., Israel, Turkey and even Saudi Arabia will be secured from 'chemical attacks' by the Assad regime. It's also in the national interest of the US that the Assad regime will be reminded that it can not get away from violating the international law. The military action against the Assad dictatorship may also help push both the armed opposition and the current regime in Syria to a negotiation table that will pave the way for democratization and peace in Syria.
