Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has confirmed that former UN secretary-general Kofi Annan will join the next round of the Thai government-initiated unity forum.
Speaking after her meeting with Annan on the sidelines of the United Nations Human Rights Council conference in Geneva, Yingluck said she discussed with Annan the Thai government’s reconciliation efforts and its success in holding a series of forum entitled “Uniting for the Future: Learning from each other’s experience.”
