Gun control Laws

Gun laws in the U.S regulate the sale, possession, and use of firearms and ammunition. 40%-45% of the United States households have a gun in their home. 67% of people say they have a gun in there house for security, 66% of people say they has a gun for target shooting, and 58% of people have a gun for hunting purposes.
As of 2008 10,886 murders happened with a firearm, which is 67% of all the murders that have happened. There are many things that make it hard for people to buy a firearm. The big reason involves what they did or what happened in their back history. Gun control laws have made it difficult to buy or own a firearm if you are a felon or if you have a disability.
I think that gun control laws should stay the same right now and none should be added or removed. Since all the laws that have been put in place after all the school shootings, I my eyes shooting have gone down and there is not as much shooting, but yes there still are some.
Gun controls have made big controversies with people because of the thing the laws say, and what you have to be like to be able to by a firearm. Also today, for example blind people are able to get firearms and people that have felonies can get them (and I don’t mean speeding or anything like that).
