Ok I know that is a strong statement to one of Americas greatest hamburger places. I'll explain. I went into my local McDonald's and ordered a number one meal It came with 2 sausage biscuits hash brown and a coffee. The price was 5.09. I noticed on my receipt I was charged for a med coffee. I asked to speak to the manager. I told her of my concerns and I feel that they are ripping people off on purpose. She was a lil upset at me but I told her if I asked for a number one I expect to get that and not up sold without my knowledge. I noticed this has happened a lot when I have gone there. They asked you if you want a med or large with your meal never giving the option for small. so they are getting extra 20 to 50 cents from every customer. and drinks are real cheap for them so all profit. So two days later I go through the drive through. I ordered a number one there was a 49 cents charge came on the screen. When I asked her what was that for? she told me the was for the med coffee. Once again a 49 cents charge without my consent. I asked to speak to the manager. A different one this time I spoke to. I told her the same concerns and she told me I was right. I told her I would put them on social media for all the world to know they are stealing Billions from customers. You figure 20 to 50 plus a customer times the meals bought by one person there, you could be out a couple of extra dollars. So when they ask do you want med or large, say I want what come with the meal and make sure they did not charge you extra for a drink. Sometime they hide it by breaking up all the charges but look at subtotal and it should match the price on the wall. unless you decide to go bigger I wonder how much money they have stolen from me all these years. If there is a lawyer that wants to help me email me and we can end them stealing from us. Its not just them is all the fast food chains easy money and right under our noses. They should hire me to drive around and buy all day like a audit. I bet if they look at all their meals sold small coffee that comes with the meal is rarely sold.
