Macy's Famed Giant Helium balloons took flight today despite a windy day in NYC. They flew at a lower altitude so that the handlers could walk with them in a straight line.
This year making their debut were Adventure Time with Finn and Jake, Snoopy with his pal Woodstock, Toothless from "How to Train Your Dragon" The Wizard of Oz and Happy Hippo. With Hanukkah falling on Thanksgiving this year a special spinning Dreidel balloon made it's way down the parade route.
Back in the parade were the regular balloons like Spider Man, Buzz Lightyear, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Hello Kity,Sonic along with clowns, bands and floats.
