Poignant

To desribe Martin Luther King in just one word is diffucult, but my word to desribe him is poignant. He is very inspiritational and moving to me. I am biracial. I have a Japanese and Irish background. I am merely the physical version of Asian-American. Sometimes I am discriminated against my race.  Whenever I am discrimated because of my race, I think about Martin Luther King, and what he has fought for, to be equal. As you know, colored people were discrimnated, as if white people were the 'superior' race, which is not true.
Martin Luther King, took a stand a made a change to that. He believed that everyone was equal, that a person should be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. He never gave up in what he believed in, and he kept trying. He was a very courageous man, who had many leadership qualities. His dreams and beliefs still live on today, and he is still very poignant.
Thank you, Martin Luther King Junior, for helping this world an even better place for all of us.
