Shia genocide has been continuous for the past few years in Pakistan. Recently the violence and brutal murders have been so common that Shia's all over Pakistan have been part of silent and peaceful protests. This includes men, women, children, and even newborn infants. However, the Pakistani government has not taken any type of action against the killers of these innocent people. The killers are from extremist Islamist groups such as Sipah-e-Sahaba and Tehreek-e-Taliban. Just a few days prior, the city of Quetta was bombed by the Lashkar-e-Jhanvi extremist group killing over 85 innocent people. Since then, Shia's in Quetta have been sitting outside in the cold snowy weather with their loved one's dead bodies to protest against the brutality. For over 60 hours, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, and babies have been peacefully waiting for justice. They demand the Pakistani army to come take over Quetta and take responsibility for their safety. This spurred many other Shia's all over Pakistan and other countries to take action and also take part in the protests. Still, the Pakistani army and government has not take any official action, and the media has not covered this issue. The Pakistani Shia's demand their justice, peace, and safety.
